Comments
Comments: Today concluded our quick 3 day trip to get Tom some VT summits. Little spicy up above but not too bad. This route is in serious need of directional cues so if you aren’t comfortable with that sort of thing you might want to go with someone who knows it well. Captain Chris joined us today, which was great. Tom and I wore microspikes door to door, Cap wore hillsounds, better choice with some black ice under a few inches a powder. A few of the scrambles are tricky without great hand/footholds and the aforementioned black ice. All in all a great day on top of Vermont.
