Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Do take note, the middle section of Forest Road #54 is closed just past the Emily Proctor Trail. I recommend accessing this trailhead via Forest Road #59, off of Route 125 in Ripton Vermont. Though the road is no smooth travel, I did manage a 12-passenger van to the trailhead. Making the mistake of going in from the north then needing to go back to the south access point cost us almost an hour. Google Maps does not know this road is closed.

Comments
Comments: Excellent, gradual trail with great views. Really quiet for such great foliage. One of my favorite VT hikes.
