 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Easily snagged a spot at the Lincoln Gap parking despite getting there after 9:30 AM. Decent amount of other vehicles, but on a clear, warm, dry day, I imagine the parking fills up quite early. |

 | Comments: |
The Long Trail from Lincoln Gap to Mount Ellen was mostly dry with some small mud patches here and there. The ledges on Abraham were wet due to some drizzle, but they quickly dried out once the cloud deck lifted and the temps rose.
The weather forecast for this area was looking considerably better than the forecast for the Whites and much of Maine, so the choice to go here to hike was an obvious one. Some fog and light rain on the initial ascent of Abraham, but after that weather conditions dramatically improved, with light wind, milder temps, and peeks of sunshine and blue sky for most of the day. Great views from the ski slopes, the various view ledges on the LT, and the summit of Abraham on the return leg of the hike. |
