||Mt. Equinox, VT|
||Blue Summit Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Sunday, June 4, 2023|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Red Gate lot was full at 8:45, so we parked at the overflow lot further down the road (plenty of room). |
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock |
|Water Crossing Notes:
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||No blowdowns. Not too much advanced erosion either. |
||I think dogs have to be leashed in certain places (summit?) |
||None today due to the cooler temperatures. |
|Lost and Found:
||Trail was fairly dry with a few damp spots higher up from a brief shower, as well as some slippery rock up high. Good footing for a good portion of the way.|
Auto road was open, as was the summit visitor center. Nice views from the upper decks.
Cloudy morning with temperatures in the 50s and occasional glimpses of sun.
