Comments
Comments: Ski trails: Lower Magic Carpet, Vertigo, Glades, Connector from Timber Ridge, Connector to Timber Ridge, Magic Mountain trail.

Great chance to hike up to meet family skiers at the summit. No charge for uphill travel. Followed the uphill route (map provided), except part of the lower section. The route enters the glades east of LMC, but they were free of consistent snow. Remained on the side of the ski trail where there were some spots w/o snow coverage. The up hill route also crosses the ski trail to get to the section in the glades, but this was easy since it doesn't get too crowded. The map provided is not to scale; the connector trails, in addition to also seeing snowmobile travel, are a bit longer than indicated (should have looked at a real map). Cell towers at summit just west of top of black lift. Walked back down eastern ski trails to uphill route.

Beautiful blue bird day. Views of other ski hills Bromley, Stratton, Ascutney, Okemo (I think), and many hills beyond.
