Comments
Comments: I used snowshoes the entire clockwise loop. The trails were in really good shape with rocks and minor ice covered; except, for the blowdowns where a detour is required. The existing singletrack path was fine with snowshoes. However, going slightly off center and I would sink 6-inches or so. Much more if venturing off trail. Hopefully, the snowpack firms up by tomorrow for spikes to be the best option but I am not completely sold with no really cold air moving in and perhaps several inches of snow overnight to blanket the snowpack.
