Comments
Comments: Trail is very well packed until approaching the Long Trail, then a little looser and occassionally drifted until just above the hut, then packed and very steep from there to the summit. I was concerned about the summit spur being icy and carried crampons for this, but they never came out of the pack. You can take snowshoes, but until there's more snow you'll just be carrying them on your pack for fun. Very windy above treeline, but luckily you're not above treeline for more than a few minutes. No tracks on the AT/LT heading north. I didn't check for tracks heading south. Overall, a pretty boring trail - 2+ miles of flat, and then straight up you go until you're there.
