Parked opposite of trailhead on smugglers notch road. 4 vehicles on arrival parking was tight as cars were widely spaced apart. Carspot at Underhill State Park.**there is a short detour enroute to park as a culvert is being replaced on upper pleasant road between harvey road and new road. Irish Settlement Road will get you there.

they were thick ascending Hellbrook as temps had risen and wind was non existent. Fortified my base layer of deet with a topcoat of natrupel and had no problem. there were literally clouds of mosquitoes |

Fun hike up Hellbrook to AA and The Chins. Lots of haze in the sky but had super views nonetheless. Crossed paths with 22 others today. winds picked up substantially while descending Sunset Ridge Trail
