Comments
Comments: South-facing trail is mostly dry. Apparently this trail is closed for mud season (hard to understand the mud season postings online at this point), but plenty of folks out. A few mucky areas (which look to normally be mucky judging by the stepping stones), but no widespread mud. A few patches of snow/ice and thawing ground frost near the very top in mixed woods, but each patch was a few feet long. Since this trail faces south and is mostly in hardwoods, it may not be indicative of other trails in the area.

Nice partly sunny afternoon with good views from the south vista just before the summit and the west vista just after the summit.
