| Comments: |
Early spring trail conditions. Still visible snow in the woods even at the notch parking lot. Around 2,800' elevation, snow cover pretty much full, with about 6 inches of newish snow rapidly melting into slush. Between Styles and Peru peaks (3,200+ feet) the old snow layer was several inches to a foot deep, with a slushy top. Slippery, cold wet conditions on my feet today but warm spring sunshine on my shoulders. |
