| Comments: |
The Ridge Trail had been hiked once, by a regular, since the storm prior to us. Trail was slightly packed powder with some drifting on the ridge. Descent down the Fire Tower Trail was mostly a slide from the tower to the Vista. Nobody had hiked it since the storm and the rocks are covered with ice. Possible to go up that section with snowshoes, but microspikes might be required. The hike out from the Vista was more heavily packed and had been hiked by at least one party in boots. |
