Large recent blowdown just beyond Ridge Tr jct. on section which is part of Catamount Tr. so most likely will be removed soon. |

Heavy hearts on Elmore today. Craig's (ckeller) dog Stella recently passed. One of Elmore's regular hiking pups. Nice chatting with him and daughter today and wishing their family the best during this difficult time |

Microspikes all hike. Very helpful in section below tower. 2-5" max. currently of powder snow. Trails were faster yesterday before another 2" covered up uneven spots making for some awkward steps. |
