Comments
Comments: Bucklin Trail is easy for the first two miles, mostly on old woods roads. Then it's a steady climb, though not extreme, to the Long Trail junction and on to Cooper Lodge. Killington Spur to the summit is very steep, but has pretty good footing and handholds. This is a good thing, since the summit was socked in, with strong wind and rain. It was hairy enough as it was. No view, except cell towers, or whatever they are, looming out of the mist. Still a great day in the mountains.
