I parked on Floodwoods Road to the west of these peaks. I made sure to avoid the farms/homes. |

Being sure to avoid homes, etc. I bushwhacked up the drainage and soon cut towards Bald. By VT standards, there was some tight woods around Bald; though it had some good summit views. I noted a trail that seemed to come up from the north. I worked my way east and then south towards Waitsfield Gap. The woods and terrain were a bit challenging in places. I crossed powerlines and close to a cabin and then headed up to the peak. Finally I bushwhacked to the road up Waitsfield Gap and took that down, using a snowmobile tr. to return to the my parking spot. |
