| Comments: |
Mud season looks over in this part of southern VT. Tiny patch of snow under a spruce branch at my 3,300' campsite. Plenty of water at seasonal trickles, two streams, plus at Kid Gore and Story Spring Shelters. Kid Gore stands with a slight lean, but looks pretty good for 50 years old, AND has a great view including Somerset Reservoir.
Several parties running the ridge from Rt 9 to Stratton-Arlington road, including someone I recognized from my Spanish class last year. |
