| Comments: |
Trail was chewed up from too many bare booters and not enough snowshoes. It was left in decent shape by the passage of two butt sledders and at least two sets of snowshoes. Light snow moved in as I reached the summit so no views of the Forbidden Mountains of NH and NY. With warm weather on the way next week they were busy tapping in the sugarbush north of Battell Trail. The warm weather also brings low expectations for future trail conditions unless snowshoes are worn. |
