Water Crossing Notes: Main brook/stream crossing seemingly all iced over. Had no problem. But those minor seeps/brooks/streams that cross the trail after you cross the brook....those were pesky!

Comments: WOW! There's a LOT of snow. I had BIG plans to maybe do the loop, but the joke was on me! Anyway, now the trail is broken, although far from consolidated, up to the shelter. Thank goodness for the moose that seemed to prefer the trail. I would have had a hard time following the trail through the hardwoods, but thanks to those tracks I was able to weave/stagger my way upward.

I missed climbing the bank above the brook on my way up, but followed the actual trail on my way down.

There's a LOT OF SNOW!
