Hiked Camels Hump for sunrise on New Years Day. Apparently I was not the only one with this idea. I’ve hiked the Hump for about 5 years straight for New Years sunrise and often I’ve been all alone at the summit. Not today. At one point I counted over 40 people and 10 dogs. A bit too rowdy for my pleasure.
Everyone came for the sun but it was the nearly full moon that stole the show. Sun was slow in arriving although we were above the clouds. Most departed before the sun appeared gloriously.
Happy New Years! |
