Our pup handled the trip just fine with musher's wax and a jacket. There was an off leash dog which followed us a bit from the trailhead, assuming it was a local dog (looked health and seemed playful) and it wasn't hard to shoo. |

| Comments: |
Packed powder w/ some ice patches. Put on microspikes almost immediately and wore them the rest of the day. Snowshoes got a free ride. Ice is almost worse close to the trailhead than by the summit, as the summit has a layer of powder over it. |
