Awesome day out on Mansfield. Hell Brook always takes much longer than I think it should and being covered in a thin layer of ice + 1ft of snow didn’t make it any faster. Micro spikes and axe up to the Adams Apple, then crampons up to the chin on some very interesting steep terrain. Profanity was 1-3ft of powder most of the way back down to Taft Lodge. Easy going back down LT to 108. Would recommend axe if going LT south to Chin. Otherwise take Profanity |
