| Comments: |
Did my normal lollipop loop going up Monroe, Dean, Lt(north) to summit and then Monroe down. Highly recommend this route or Forest City/Burrows from the other side to get the LT section in on hike. Lots of wet, slick rock where poles helped greatly with just a short section of trail north of summit with any snow. This was so minimal that one need not step in it. Timing (3:00 summit) and route made for much quieter hike than an up and back on Burrows; which has been the most popular route for years. More like Sept 8th than Nov 8th weather today. |
