| Comments: |
I wore spikes for most of the hike, my hiking partner did not. It was a very cold and clear day. The trail up to Jay Peak was very icy. However, the conditions worked in our favor for the hike over to Big Jay. The dreaded mud and water on the herd path was frozen. The path was very easy to follow. Now is a good time to grab this hike, unless it warms up again. We saw lots of people and dogs out enjoying the day. |
