| Comments: |
The first mile of the trail is a forest road, and the second mile is generally pretty moderate. The whole way has been packed down into a very hard, fast surface. There were a couple short sections of ice. Microspikes were perfect the whole way. Snowshoes are needless overkill at the moment. There are great views of basically the entire route of the AT in NH from the summit. |
