No established parking area that we saw at Jerusalem so parked on the side of the road and hoped for the best. Small parking area for battell at the end of Jim Dwire Rd. |

No action up there for quite some time. Unpacked trails with 12-18" of snow from the trailhead at Jerusalem all the way to Mt. Abe. Battell had a packed snowshoe track under 3-4" of new snow. With snow in the forecast tomorrow, bring a strong crew if you're planning on grabbing those peaks any time soon. Shout out to Jim Jorgensen...he is either a true gentleman or a masochist because he only let me break trail for 10 minutes all day but either way it's always a pleasure to hike with him. |
