First section was a mix of patches of frozen dirt and packed snow which we bare booted. After about 3/4 of a mile the patches of dirt stopped and we finally put on the micro spikes and kept them on for the rest of the trip. The steeper sections near the summit were a bit icy, but the micro spikes worked well enough. Summit was cold and very windy. The views were amazing. |
