| Bugs: |
When you approach approximately elevation 2960-2970, you will see a sign on the trailbed warning you of a bees nest. From this sign, if you look about 10ft up the trail, there is a lone tree on the edge of the trail, the nest is ground level in this tree. They where not active that early in the colder weather, if you hug right you'll avoid the nest. |

A very, very easy peak for the first hike of the day. Nothing of note except the bug note above. Very straightforward, great views from the fire tower! |
