Comments
Comments: Willoughby lake is a very busy place on the weekend. My first time there and the views from the south end of the lake are breathtaking. The hike is very pleasant and steep. Pulpit rock is a drop off so pay attention... trees growing in so view up the lake are obstructed. In the clouds for over an hour at the middle overlook on the north trail. It finally started to break to get satisfactory views then I started down, glad I did... many, many people on their way up. A lot of French Canadians on the trail, only 40 miles away from the border.... a lot of nice people, wish I could speak French but I can’t so it was a lot of head nodding today lol. What a gem in the Northeast kingdom.
