Comments: Beautiful day for a hike, parking lots were both filling up quickly by 9 am. Made good time up the mountain and had incredible views. The dog/person traffic got a little cramped at points, and there was a bit of a sniff-off induced traffic jamb about 0.1 miles from the summit where the trail banks left and peeks out of the trees. Summit stewards were quite active on top roping off the vegetation. Went south off the summit to find the airplane wreckage and managed to find 2 wings (or 2 parts of one wing) at two separate locations. Both were rights off the trail, the first one was under a quarter of a mile after getting into the trees and the second was 0.2 miles after that. Caught back up with the Monroe trail in order to link back to the Burrows Trail. By the time we made it down the mountain at 2pm the parking lot was packed and there were cars lining the road. Lovely trail, perfect for a wide range of hiking experience and abilities.
