Trail up until about 3,000 ft elevation was annoying spring snow with a lot of postholes, etc. Snowshoes weren't super helpful traction-wise but kept the trail looking nicer than all of the people who bare-booted leaving postholes. After that it was nice powder and snowshoes were great. |
