Comments
Comments: Trial is hard packed and icy up to Stowe Pinnacle. Headed up the Hogback tr. there were bareboot tracks that dwindled to just two barebooters. I switched to snowshoes for hogback as some of the postholes were 8in. The barebooters continued south along the ridge, where snow depths increased to a foot with bigger drifts. I passed the barebooters' camp and caught up to them on the way up hunger. I passed them and began breaking (they were struggling considerably without snowshoes.. The highpoint of the north peak is just a stone's throw from the trail. I retraced my steps and continued north along the ridge to the south peak of Worcester, which was completely unbroken. This hike was tough due to the duration a trail breaking and amount of reclimb.
