| Comments: |
Started the day with wet trails and fog. Trails dried up some as the day went on. Lots of mud on the LT between Wind Gap and the summit. Ledges were wet if not exposed to the sun, very slippery. By the time we reached the summit, the fog and clouds had cleared up significantly giving us decent views although a bit hazy. The summit was busy so we didn't stay too long. Took a nice break just a short ways down the Monroe Trail. The LT was a fun mix of scrambles and views. All other trails in good shape with generally good footing. |
