Comments
Comments: Somebody had been up earlier in the week and pushed in about half mile. They turned around and I broke trail for another mile or so before meeting up with ski tracks. The monorail under the few inches of snow was good, so it was easy going with snowshoes.

Big jay also was mostly broken out by one or many skiers. Snowshoes all the way out, otherwise you'll be postholing. Whoever made it to the peak wasn't there for the "true" summit, so managed to break trail the extra 20 feet.

Went the wrong way off of big jay and had to back track, but I was happy to have the broken on the way out. Two more skiers were headed out when on my way back, so the trail is a mix of flat and bare boots.

A great day overall.
