Comments
Comments: Dorset Hollow Approach, Buswhack, unknown Roads.

I began by using the Dorset Hollow approach towards Dorset Peak. The approach is straight forward and in good shape. The cabin has collapsed. At the col between the main and west peaks, I began to bushwhack up the west peak. A road provided some headway and then tapered off. The woods were not bad up the slope and across the flat summit to the recognized highpoint. I then worked my way south, taking care to hit the south ridge. Once I was on the ridge, it was good easy walking. I passed a picnic table in the col and bushwhacked up to the 2970 peak of south Dorset; the highpoint is recognized. I dropped down east to the road I took in, using steep and open bushwhacks and old roads to get down to the drainage.
