242 to Jay Peak is easy.
Slippery, smooth rock on descent of Jay Peak to Doll/LW Shelter.
Herd path to Big Jay has some patches of boot-swallowing, Adirondack-style mud. Views limited to the inside of a cloud for me -- 42 degrees with 40-50mph wind. |
