Room for about a dozen cars. Good signs on the road to help you find the parking. FR59 a bit rough in a few places, but good all in all. Sign at the trail head said they have been experiencing break-ins, so don't have anything of value in sight in your car. |

| Comments: |
Temps were around freezing from when I left the car until I was on the way back from Mt. Wilson. Skylight Pond had a layer of ice on most of it. The lodge is pretty interesting. The outhouse at Emily Proctor Shelter is just a door in front of a toilet. The rest of the building has been dissembled and is on the ground. View past the summit of Bread Loaf is nice, but the highlight of the day was the 300 lb black bear crossing the trail just in front of me on the way back down nearing the trail head. |
