Comments
Comments: Did a quick afternoon out-and-back to southern VT's highest mountain. There was a LOT of mud down low, but up high, it wasn't really an issue. I was probably the only non-AT thru hiker on the trail that day, and it was fun chatting with them. 6.8 mi roundtrip, 1700' gain, 2 hr 16 min personal book time (3 MPH pace).
