Quite a few axe-necessary stepover or duck under blowdowns that look like they were left behind. Trails north of Mt. Wilson could use a lot of brushing, especially the upper half of the Clark Brook Trail. |

| Comments: |
Forecasted sunny day never happened, so trails stayed wet and muddy. First half of Clark Brook Trail was excellent (good footing and well drained), but upper half was wet and slippery and very brushy (practically a herd path, but easy to follow). Plenty of mud on the Long Trail between Roosevelt and the shelter. |
