Comments
Comments: Long Trail / AT from Stratton-Arlington Rd
Firm enough for bare booting with worn MicroSpikes at bottom and middle. Top third we postholed some, but not quite enough to put our snowshoes on. Trees bowed over with snow for top fifth, so a little damp even when bent over. First time I've ever seen fire tower from south of the clearing because the packed trail was so high above the bowed-over trees.
