Winter Access Notes:Standard hiking approaches become longer with winter road closures on both the East and West side of the mountain. The Long Trail (north of the peak) and Profanity Trail can become technical in nature. Respectful access may be allowed via the Stowe ski area.
Road Access Notes:Route 108 (Long Trail southbound) closes adjacent the Stowe Gondola access road, often from November to May. The summer Underhill State Park (Sunset Ridge Trail, CCC Road, Maple Ridge Trail) parking areas are not plowed for winter use.
