Plenty of Parking on Meloon Road. Only one other car there at 9 AM and none in the afternoon. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

All water crossing were very easy, there was some water on trail due to the recent rain. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two Blowdowns on the Black Mountain Cutoff Trail. They were easy to maneuver around. |

A few mosquitos due to the recent rain and humidity. Some bug spray needed. |

 | Comments: |
The trails were in very good shape. Met two other hikers at the Cabin they let me know that taking the East Pasture trail then the Cutoff trail back from the summit was a good addition to the overall hike. Really beautiful woods on these two trails and added another half mile to the hike. |
