Comments
Comments: Lambert trail dry near the bottom, but up around the ledges and beyond there was significant blue ice along the trail, particularly the steep areas. Also it was snowing lightly all morning while I was there, above 1500-2000 feet. Only 1/2 inch or so, but it concealed the areas that were icy. Light traction very advisable.

Ranger trail quite a contrast. More south-facing and free of ice. At the bottom it is very muddy in sections, but there is room along the sides to avoid most of it.
