Dog-Related Notes: Most dogs will have an issue with one of the icy scrambles on Blueberry Ledges - Nick was okay once we boosted him up over it.

Comments: Roadwalk is icy. Light traction not a bad idea.


Blueberry Ledge Trail uphill was generally Microspikeable hardpack conditions. I used an ice ax to get up the step up scramble (above the drill hole scramble), however others were able to climb up a tree next to it with Micros.


There was some drifting on Rollins, so snowshoes were a good idea this morning. There are a few ice bulges, but our snowshoes provided enough traction.


Micros were fine for ascent or descent on Dicey's Mill. On this trail, snowshoes were a detriment, as the footbed is narrow due to non-snowshoe use.
