This trail is one of the best in the Whites. The amount of work that went into that trail just amazes me! |

Couple of pups...easy trail but no water so bring plenty. |

From the WV side nothing of note, but on the descent to Tripoli Road they were much worse. Bug dope recommended if you take that route. |

Did the loop from WV parking lot to Tripoli Road...only a mile longer and a couple hundred more feet of gain. This was my first time on the northern route and its quite nice...very gradual, well maintained, etc. We only saw two folks on the northern section although there were 3 cars at that end. Both me and my hiking buddy were doing this hike post-covid, so it was a good choice for us. Lots of cars at the Osceola trail head as usual. The Tripoli Road has been improved somewhat but still rough in places. |
