Comments
Comments: Barebooted all the way to Jennings Peak. Firm snow, no post holing. The steeper sections have less snow and I was able to ascend without spikes via careful foot placement. Great lookouts and spectacular southerly view from the Jennings ledge. Snow was softening up on Drakes Brook, I did posthole a few times, but not too deeply. Snowshoes would not have been too helpful as the trail wasn't very smooth. Not much prior snowshoe travel on this trail.
