Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail in good condition. One signed relocated section on west side of loop. I cut three striped maples and one pine on the east side of the loop. There is one large tree down near post 12 with a worn path around the blockage. A 6" diameter tree is across the trail about a foot above ground near post 11 that is an easy step over.

Comments
Comments: I had never hiked this trail. I hiked the loop in the clockwise direction. There was no snow or ice on the trail. The grades were not steep and the footing was secure. Good views of the Swift River valley and the surrounding peaks from the ledges. Also, good views of the adjacent cliffs. Saw a tent a good distance off the trail. I assume there must be a guide that provides narrative for each of the numbered posts along the path. I did not notice if the guides were at the trailhead kiosk.
