Comments
Comments: What a mix bag of conditions! Happy to start before 9 with 35 degrees because that made the trail pristine!!! Snow to start, open dry areas, more snow. Once I started to go more straight up, put on my snowshoes because I love my televators!! Once I got to the steep big rock section… no snow! So off the snowshoes, Then more snow, back on the snowshoes! The steep exposed part was cake with half snow half rock, the next section had a little ice but with kick holes. I kept the snowshoes on until the chimney… since there was 0 snow again, I did the bypass. Then back on after. The summit at osceola is bare! I walked over to the true summit which not many did but I floated and had a killer view as there was still 1-3’ of snow in places. Then made my way back and the lower I got the sloppier it was which was expected with 55 degrees at the car!
