A few step over sized brooks. Easy to cross. |

Microspikes were helpful on the Thumb. The steep section was icy with a dusting of snow on top. There are a few icy section descending Thumbs Up Trail off Skatutakee, but we bare booted them. No need for snowshoes.
The wood carvings on the lower Harriskat Trail are pretty cool. |
