Comments
Comments: THe weather was beautiful but the trails were not. Very "mashed potatoes" like horrible trail conditions with postholes all over and unavoidable to not post hole based on the snow being very unstable and slushy.
Snowshoes were used on the way up and spikes on the way down. Either way, it was really a toss up on helping with footing. Many of the other hikers were using spikes. [Snowshoes would leave the trail in better shape for others]
