| Comments: |
A little bit of everything. Very Warm to start with lots of water and slushy messy trails. Put on snowshoes just before Carter Moriah Trail which helped with traction and stability in wet snow. Saw a few other in Microspikes who seemed fine. Kept them on over Carter Dome.
Switched to crampons for the climb in and out of the notch, kept them on across wildcats. Lots of ice under a couple of inches of fresh powder. Descended via ski trails. |
