Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Roadside parking Lake Road, observe areas with no parking between signs. About six cars at arrival 7:45am, mostly for an AMC led hike with about 8-10 total people (passed later on). Maybe 15-20 cars ahead of me on return 12:45pm, could have been more behind me around the bend.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in great shape. No blowdowns. Not a lot of blazes but trail is fine to follow with diligence. Cairns are well made and indicated after passing Red Spot junction, following rock slabs and eventually above tree-line.

Bugs: A few bothersome on return once off the ridge and walking through woods.

Comments
Comments: Amazing weather for this long, rugged, and scenic hike. Most of rock is dry, only a few wet and slippery, and mud was mostly dry with limited coverage and nothing significant. Trail is in great shape overall.
