Roadside parking Lake Road, observe areas with no parking between signs. About six cars at arrival 7:45am, mostly for an AMC led hike with about 8-10 total people (passed later on). Maybe 15-20 cars ahead of me on return 12:45pm, could have been more behind me around the bend. |

Trail is in great shape. No blowdowns. Not a lot of blazes but trail is fine to follow with diligence. Cairns are well made and indicated after passing Red Spot junction, following rock slabs and eventually above tree-line. |

Not allowed. |

| Bugs: |
A few bothersome on return once off the ridge and walking through woods. |

| Comments: |
Amazing weather for this long, rugged, and scenic hike. Most of rock is dry, only a few wet and slippery, and mud was mostly dry with limited coverage and nothing significant. Trail is in great shape overall. |
